Our Application was also received by M.Salcedo at TSC on August 2nd. We got all our receipts on October 1st. When I checked the status online for 765, the status showed - 'Card Production Ordered'

I have a question regarding AC21 portibility. I got my EAD in Oct 12th 2007. In the labor(used a pre-approved labor), the base pay mentioned is 48K and I was getting paid 55K from my current employer(A) who filed my green card.
I am getting another job in company (B) in the same field. The salary offer is better but is very high than mentioned in my labor. The new salary is around 85K.
1) Will the high salary will cause any issue with green card process if I take AC21 and use my EAD. Anyone had this kind of experience with the salary difference.
2) How do I know my new job is in the same or similar category as defined by USCIS.
3) Is AC21 is safe to take.

i am currently on H-1B with employer A. i hv a job offer from employer B which is a mgr role based outside USA.
i know that if i work for 1+ yr with employer B outside USA then i can come back to USA on L1-A visa.
my question is - during this 1 yr period, can i work for employer B in USA on H-1B?

Sorry for posting this question again. but since I did not get an answer, I am posting again to see if some one can advise regarding this. I am trying to look up dates for H1 visa stamping in Canada and the website says no appointments for 6 weeks. I am thinking of going for visa stamping in July. is there any chance that they might open up some more appointments in the next few days even though it says unavailable currently? please post your comments and experiences regarding this.

Hi All,
Please take couple of secs to finish this poll. No matter what was your case for interview..extension, renewal, first time..when was H1/H4 etc approved..where it was approved..etc etc..nothing matters. All that needs to be tracked is wait time.
As long as New Delhi consulate please do this and this will give an idea for wait times.

Folks,
I just realized that I forgot to add a piece of my employment history to the DS-160. I only realized it once I set up the appointment for H1-B stamping through VFS. I have all the corroborating paperwork (W2, paystub etc.) for that period. Do I need to re-do the DS-160? I already have an appointment and if I cancel the appointment and re-do the DS160 I might run the risk of not getting the date of my choosing. The problem is my existing company is a "successor in interest" of the company I forgot to mention. That is, I got my I-797 from this previous company.
Please not that the facts in the existing DS 160 are true. It is just that I realized that there is a gap that I might have to fill.

Hey,
i created a "Deep Zoom classic + Source" template.
The only thing i still need for my project is to know when a image got clicked/is in the users focus!!! (a single subimage)!
I would be very thankful for help. (A method would be the best and the insert point!)
Yeah i know there are some methods on google but they don't fit in this generated code...
Deep Zoom is very cool but i don't understand why the api is so bad designed.
There should be a event on subimage, something like "Clicked", "focused"...

Now a days VFS is not releasing appointment dates more than 2 - 2.5 weeks in advance. I am not aware of any specific time of the day when these become available.

Hi,
I am stuck between H1B extn based on 6 yr and GC. My current H1B is expiring on 8th April 2011. I want to file for extn to recover my days outside US (about 60 days). Based on current processing time at Vermont processing center (6 to 8 months), I will not receive approval by end of 6 yr (about June 25th). My PERM was filed on 16-May-2011.
My company says it is not recommended to file for extn beyond 6 hr based on PERM pending if you already have H1 extn approval pending.
What are my options here to extend my stay beyond June 25th?
