I am seeing people with july 2nd dates getting their checks cashed, and there maybe a quick jump after July 2nd because of the bulletin fiasco we had. And plenty of people have filed after July 17, Could someone tell me if their checks have got cashed? This could be a helpful thread for After 17th filers.

Could someone tell me please.....I'm filling the application for advance parole the first time......what should I write where it is written: " Date of intended departure"...if I dont know exactly when I'm leaving....should I write a date or should I write " I dont know yet?"
And also I read that the documents required are 2 photos, I-485 receipt notice, I-140 approval notice.....is that right? or what other documents do I need?
I would highly appreciate your help!

Dear friends,
Can a person with following qualification file in EB2? Do you foresee issues like RFE/rejection?
3 Yr B.Com + 2 Yr MBA + 3 Yr MCA .. all foreign degrees. + 1 year of progresive experience.
Can you also suggest/comment on following? -
- Are there any finer-points in various forms that require some specific words/info?
- new OTC job band changes - would it affect this case in any ways?
- Education Evaluation - can you please recommend any good evaluator.. better if somebody who has successfully handled similar cases?

USCIS has updated the H-1B cap count. (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=138b6138f898d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=91919c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD) As of December 8, CIS has received approximately 61,500 cases against the regular (non-Master's) H-1B cap of 65,000. However, since CIS sets aside up to 6,500 of this 65,000 for nationals of Chile and Singapore, it is possible that they will stop accepting other H-1B petitions soon, if not already. We are still filing new petitions, but with fingers crossed that they are not too late. If you need to file, please do so ASAP.

Hi,
I have changed to a new employer using AC-21 recently. I have pro-actively sent AC-21 documentation (new offer of employment, covering letter and supporting docs) to USCIS. Ever since, I am checking my case online. Its about 3 months now that I have sent this info and there has not been any update/LUD on my 485 case so far. I am not sure if my I-485 case has details about my new employment.
I am currently doing my EAD renewal. I am thinking if it will be possible to indicate to USCIS about my new employment. Can you please advice on -
a) if it is wise to do so?
b) How can it be done?

USCIS completed the intake and receipt processes for all filings as of May 24, 2008 and began mailing rejection notices the week of June 9. Therefore, if an employer has not yet received a filing confirmation (Form I-797C Notice of Action), it likely means that the petition was not selected in the random process and that the rejection notice will be forthcoming."

Is it ok to use this form though we will be filing the I-485 on 07/01/07.

As long as you get your medicals done before 6/30/07 you should be fine.

When a particular priority date becomes current in the next month's bulletin,say the July bulletin. Does USCIS start looking at the current cases once the July bulletin is issued or starts looking at them from July 1st.
