i remember there are about 40,000 file to TSC on July 2nd, while 35,000 file to NSC. Why no one say something?

my current situation is like this.
i have H1B with Company A and it is valid till next year but i moved to Company B past two years back i worked with them now no job he said he is terminating h1b, so can i stay with previous company A (once i get the job i can switch to him until then can i stay with there h1b or not) or i will be in illegal status plase help me out.:confused:
and what actually be the Termination process of h1b

My wife's H1B got approved earlier this week through company A. Company B also made an offer last month but they are still working on the H1B visa issue with the attorney.
So, my question is if this company (B) files H1B now, then it should be a "transfer (not subject to quota)" or "new petition (subject to quota)"?
I think she is already on H1B as of today with COS effective immediately approval so any new employer can only apply for transfer and they don't need to ask for COS. We will not have pay-stubs to transfer as we are still to receive the I-797 copy and apply for SSN so that payroll can be run for her.
Please let me know if anybody has got any insight on this situation. Very much appreciate your time.

Having a pending EB1 I-140 does not in itself confer any status. If you filed an I-485 concurrently, then you are permitted to remain in the US pending adjudication. If you have a currently valid H-1B you may remain or renew pending adjudication.

My I 140 was transferred from NSC to washington DC office on July 27, 2007. Since then, Online case status does not say anything more than this. I am in my 7th year and worried. Does anyone has any idea as to why I 140 cases are transferred to local offices. Do local offices have authority to decide on I 140 cases? How long would it take for the local office to send a decision on it? How do I ollow up with the case? Attorneys / gurus please help..

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. My company and lawyer refuse to talk to me or email me back.
I sent my completed package to the lawyer 2 weeks back, and I have not heard back from him.
The initial draft needs to be sent back by the lawyer for signatures and then the file can go out.
How do I hadle the situation?

My I-140 approved in Aug 2007,My employer has withdrawn the I-140 in july but still it is approved in Aug 2007,Now my employer is agreed and want to sent the letter to USCIS not to withdrawn this I-140,As I am in Canada so they are planning to file the I-824 for me for Consular processing,so please advice do they need to file the new I-140 for me for Consular processing as they sent the withdrawn letter to uscis or is it ok for them to sent the letter again to uscis and telling them not to withdrawn this case and file I-824 for CP.Please advice!!!!!!

I am here on L2 and then Joined a Company in 2006. When I joined, that time the H1 Cap 2007 was already over so my company said that they will do my H1 this year. Unfortunatly I got the H1 Rejected as my case couldnt get in the lottery.
In the Mean time my company have filed my Green card under EB3 and we have I-140 Approved (1 st stage) in August 07.
Now, is there any way that anyone can Help me?

I used to fedex EAD and AP applications etc to this Augustine Road address before. After introducing lock boxes, they changes the fedex address too.I am planning to submit AC21. Do i need send to Lewisville address? Any experience in this regards is highly appreciated. Thanks for taking time to read.

Hello all,
I entered US on a valid h4 visa on june 2007.Filed for a h1b on march 2008 and got and stamped h1 on sep 2008.Cud not find job due to recession.Converted back to h4 on oct 2009.I have following questions
1) Is it possible to convert back to H1 or fresh H1 ?
2) will the time period i spent on h4 will be counted for my h1?
3) When i stamped my h1b earlier(oct 2008) it showed validity till sep 2011.Does that mean I have to apply h4 to h1 before that?
4) In case if i get a RFE on converting from h4 to h1 Can i stay back on my existing h4 visa?
5) I havnt ever worked on my H1 will that affect my conversion from h4 to h1 now?
It will be great if you can answer these questions.

Well this came out of nowhere. Last night the Senate passed an emergency border enforcement bill that provides $600 million for increased security on the southern US border. The $600 million will come from raising fees on staffing companies. The fee will increase by $2250 for each L-1 visa application for companies that employ 50 or more workers if 50% of the workforce is on an H-1B or an L-1.
