Does anybody know how to obtain F-1 curricular practical training if the Department does not offer any internship course? If anybody has gone through similar experience, please let me know.

Hi,
Following is my visa status:
Working for company A on L1B visa which has expired and
1) L1 extension got approved from company A valid through Aug, 2010.
2) Also have Consular-H1B petition from same Company A valid till Aug, 2011.
No H1B visa stamp
Following are my questions:
1) I am sure, in my case i can transfer my H1B petition to company B with Consulor appointment. Needed confirmation
2) As soon as i get laid off from company A, can i immediately apply for H1B peition transfer to Company B with Change of Status (COS)? how much time i have before my L1 gets deactived?

Hi!
I traveled to India and came back on 22nd Feb'2009. I am on EAD and travelled on AP.
At the immigration, I got I-94, which the officer stamped till Feb 21, 2010 (parolled until). However, my EAD is valid till (7th August,2010) 08/07/2010 (mm/dd/yyyy).I got my AP renewed till Dec'2010. Shall I be concerned about my I-94 till Feb21, 2010 (need to renew it?) or it doesn't matter as my AP is renewed and will renew my EAD 3 months before it expires? Pls answer.

22 Democratic Senators are urging President Obama to stop deporting young people who are likely to be eligible for legalization if the DREAM Act passes. The White House has so far rebuffed such requests with the not very believable excuse that it's hands are tied. That's simply not so and the President's executive authority to solve immigration problems Congress is ignoring has been well documented. Hopefully, the pressure will start to pay off.

Hello,
My wife is planning to attend for a H4 Visa Re stamping. I have couple of questions regarding the visa application process. Appreciate if you can help me with my questions
1) In DS156 should my answer to the Question� �Has Anyone Ever Files an Immigrant Petition on your behalf� be NO. FYI, my 140 is approved and waiting on 485 priority date. I don�t think I gave my wife�s name yet in my labor or 140 approval process
2) There is a section to be filled in VFS website called� Petition Details from 797/. I assume that principal applicant would be me. However I am not sure what to fill in the following questions
Petition Receipt #
Petition Expiration date
Petitioner Name: I assume it is my company name
Is the above info to be filled in from My 797 ( case type I129)or my wife�s 797( case type I539) Receipt #?

USCIS has informally advised AILA that it will prioritize the adjudication of H-1B change of status cases for F-1 cap-gap students who are otherwise prohibited from continuing employment after September 30. AILA Liaison has been coordinating with USCIS to help achieve this outcome. USCIS has the means to independently verify these cases.

could she come in as a tourist and have a school accept her in Houston Texas, then change the status into student using I-20 issued by the school?
how long it will take to have the status change? more than 2 months?
Do I have to get an immigration lawyer to do it? Or could I do it myself? If yes what is the form number?

Sir/Mam,
I am was in US on H4. I am currently in my home country for vacation.
While here, I got my H1B applied and approved as consular processing for 2011 cap.
I plan to go back to US in August on H4 and then apply COS in October and start working.
My question is : Since my H1 was approved while I was out of US, will my COS also be approved as consular processing only? Do I have to go for stamping again before I could start working???
Also, if I decide to wait and get my H1 stamped in my home country, what is the earliest I can go to stamping for 2011 cap? Can I land in US on H1B sometime mid September and start working from October.
Appreciate your feedbacks.

Last time we took our photos at Ritz Camera...they accepted mine but held her case due to these photo issue...
My attorney received this RFE and he scanned it for me..
Do we have to submit the entire app now?
