My PERM case has been pending for almost 15 months (under audit for 12 months). I asked my attorney about this enquiry thing that you can file to DOL after pending for 15 months (according to this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=21183&page=2)). Her response is that she has been sending requests about case status to the DOL on a regular basis.
Can anyone who's familiar with the matter tell me what's this enquiry is about? Is it just a regular status check or a more formal and serious matter that DOL has to assign a freaking living human to look at your case to reply? :mad:

This is to humbly request you to guide me.
I did AMIE in Computer Engg., from India and thereafter I underwent WES evaluation. It clearly stated that its equivalent to US Bachelors. On the same basis, I did my MBA from University of New Haven, CT USA. Now as I wan to file my H1B on the basis of my AMIE qualifiactions, what would be your wise advice?

My Mother in law appeared at hyderabad US consulate and IO told her that she got visa but asked her to come up with new passport, becoz some letters in her current passort has faded out.
Is this happend with any one? and what we do in this situation after getting new passport?
I mean do we need another appointment or just go with new passport and drop?
Please through some thouts.

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued guidance for people traveling after the attempted bombing of a plane on Christmas Day. TSA stresses that security measures are not the same in every airport, and this is deliberate so that people cannot anticipate how they will be screened. Details of the TSA guidance is here. CF card speed does matter, particularly if you shoot RAW or use the motor drive. Even going from a 24X card to a Sandisk Ultra II was amazing. Stay away from the low write speed cards.
